Trick or Treat Gable Box Hybrid

I love Halloween time! It's one of my favorite times of the year! I love that the weather is cooling down (if 92 degrees is considered cooler?) I love that I can start making soups for dinner, and of course I love picking out costumes!! I also love all of the fun Halloween kits that are being released! JennCk Designs just released this new kit called Midnight! It's full of cute little creatures and big tags with fun wording that make my hybrid heart happy! :) Up until October 31st, if you purchase the Midnight Kit you will also get the Midnight Add-on for FREE! (Did I mention that the kit is 30% off right now too??) I used the kit with a fun hybrid template by WendyBird Designs called Boxed In Vol. 12: Gable Box. I found some Halloween ribbon in the dollar section at Target to add to the box as well! I think it turned out cute! This was a really fun and simple project to make! Wendy includes really easy to read instructions with pictures in her downloads which makes it a lot easier to complete a project if hybrids make you nervous!! I'm going to give this little box full of candy to the girls that I visit teach! I'm sure they will like them!

Since my little one just started Preschool and I have some free time now, I decided I would treat myself to a much needed Professional Pedicure! It was so fun to relax and soak my feet and get a foot massage! I think I may need to make this a regular monthly thing!! My recent outing inspired this cute Manicure/Pedicure Treat Tent! Songbird Waterfall Hybrid Card

I haven't made any hybrids for a while so I'm excited to show off a fun hybrid card I just made! The hybrid template I used is by Wendybird Designs called Waterfall Vol. 1: Square. I don't know how she comes up with all these ideas, but they are fabulous! When you pull on the string it shows off all the different little pictures on each of the squares and then reveals the longest part where you can put a cute sentiment. It's such a fun and unique card template! The kit I used is called Songbird by Studio Rosey Posey, Studio Boutique Cute Doll and Studio Thaty. I also used the Add-on Papers and Extras. Isn't it an adorable kit? I love the color scheme and all of the cute birdies! My favorite is the chubby yellow one in the Extras! So cute! And since I was going with the songbird theme I used the quote "A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song." I ended up sending it to my sister. I hope it brightens her day! :)

Hybrid Tic-Tac Holder

I have a fun hybrid project to show off today! It's a cute little Tic-Tac Holder! My little one loves Tic-Tac's so I always carry them in my purse! I used Studio Rosey Posey's Dazzling Mini Kit and a hybrid template from Thunderdragon from The March Scrapbookgraphic's Hybrid Challenge! Tanja (Thunderdragon) always gives away the cutest hybrid templates every single month! You might even be able to still grab the Tic-Tac template from March. Click here to see if it is still available! I thought the textured papers from Rosey Posey's Dazzling kit looked so cute on my little holder! I posted my project in the Hybrid Challenge Thread at Scrapbookgraphic's and my name was chosen to win a $10 gift certificate good for any Studio Collectives kit! I was so excited! I used it to pick up this fun kit! I'm still smiling! :)

Look For Rainbows Bookmark Freebie!

Angie from Down This Road Designs created these adorable LDS Baptism themed kits called Look For Rainbows! The name was inspired by the LDS Primary song When I am Baptized. If you click on the link you can actually download the sheet music for free! I love that she made a boy version and a girl version of the kit. And even though these kits are LDS Baptism themed, you can use them for lots of other types of layouts! They are also great for other non-LDS Baptism photos! I used the boy kit to create a layout of my little one flying his new kite! Doesn't the picture in my layout make you excited it's spring? (Sorry if spring hasn't quite made it to where you live yet!) I used the girl version to create a hybrid bookmark that states The Fourth Article of Faith from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am offering it up as a freebie to y'all! Metro Chic by JennCk Designs

I'm lovin' this new kit by JennCk Designs called Metro Chic! I love the zebra print and all the shiny elements! When I saw the city scape I thought it would be the perfect kit to scrap a layout of my DH and I! We hardly ever go on dates anymore because I hate leaving my little one with a babysitter! So when my parents came into town, they watched my DS and we went out for "A Night On The Town!" He took me to a super fancy restaurant and made me feel all special! It was lots of fun! :) Since this kit is part of Scrapbook-bytes March Grab-A-Byte, each pack is only $1 for a limited time! Such a great deal! Saint Patrick's Day Fun!

Are you doing anything fun for St. Patrick's Day this year? We're having a fun little "green" potluck lunch for the playgroup my son and I go to. It should be fun! I was trying to explain to my son that we wear green on St. Patrick's Day so no one will pinch you! He didn't really understand and just kept laughing at me! He was like, "So they don't pinch me? What??? You're funny Mommy!" :p He's so silly!

To get you in the St. Patty's Day spirit, I have some fun kits to show you! The first one is called Irish Luck by Scrappin' Daisies Designs. I used it to make a fun hybrid box for The Brownie Scrap's March Hybrid Challenge! I love the paper with the cute little clovers! I'm going to fill it with gold coins and give it to my hubby before he goes to work! I just know he's going to appreciate all the creative talent that went into making this little box! (of course!) Wendy of Wendybird Designs hosts the hybrid challenges every month over at Brownie Scraps. She has some fabulous templates! It's my favorite challenge at Brownie Scraps! You can also purchase all 4 of them in a bundle. I used all of the products to create another layout of my son's art class! It's kind of busy, but I think it turned out cute! I don't believe that anything can be too Gaudy! lol!
